1. General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “GTC”) set out the terms for the use of accommodation and other services related to the accommodation facility (Sentio Villa) located in Switzerland, operated by the owner Arpad Konye.

1.3. These Terms and Conditions apply to guests using the Sentio Villa in Switzerland and any users of the website https://sentiochalet.com/ (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”).

1.4. The Terms and Conditions form an integral part of the contract between the owner and the guest for accommodation and related services (hereinafter referred to as the “Service Contract”).

 

2. Definitions

2.1 Offer: A proposal made by the owner electronically to enter into a Service Contract. 

2.2 Request for Quotation: The request made by the guest via the Website to receive an offer for accommodation. 

2.3 Bank Account: Payments shall be made to the owner’s Swiss bank account, details to be provided in the offer. 2.4 Price: The fee for the use of the Sentio Villa services, expressed in Swiss Francs (CHF).

2.5 Accommodation: Sentio Villa, located at Chemin de Brahy, 14 1885 Chesieres (Vaud), Switzerland

2.6 Service: Accommodation services and any related services at the Sentio Villa. 

2.7 Service Contract: A legally binding agreement concluded electronically between the owner and the guest.

 

3. Establishment of the Service Contract

3.1 The terms and conditions for the use of the villa are listed on the website and in these GTCs. 

3.2 The Request for Proposal shall include details such as:

  • Arrival and departure dates
  • Name and contact information of the guest
  • Number of guests 3.3 The owner will respond to the request with an offer within 48 hours, and the guest must confirm acceptance of the offer.

 

4. Payment of the Price

4.1 Guests must pay the full price to confirm the reservation.

4.2 Payments must be made in CHF to the Swiss bank account within the specified timeframe.

4.3 The price includes VAT but does not include local tourist taxes, which will be charged separately.

4.4 An invoice will be issued for the payment.

 

5. Rights and Obligations of the Parties

5.1 Guest Rights

  • The right to use the villa’s facilities such as the spa, gym, and fireplace. 
 

5.2 Guest Obligations

  • Comply with the house rules and Swiss local regulations.
  • Ensure children under 14 are supervised by an adult. 

5.3 Owner Rights

  • The right to receive the payment for services.
  • Enforce lien on guest property for unpaid dues. 

5.4 Owner Obligations

  • Provide the services as agreed in the contract.
  • Take necessary measures for uninterrupted service.

6. Extraordinary Events

6.1 In case the guest fails to arrive or departs early, no refunds will be provided. 

6.2 If the guest wishes to cancel or modify the reservation, they must notify the owner at least 3 days before the arrival date to reschedule once within the same calendar year.


7. Termination of the Service Contract

7.1 The contract ends when the service has been fully provided. 

7.2 Termination by mutual consent is allowed. Guests cannot unilaterally cancel the contract after acceptance unless under extraordinary circumstances as mentioned in section 6.


8. Handling Complaints

8.1 Complaints about the service must be reported by email to info@sentio.estate before the check-out date.


9. Liability for Damages

9.1 The owner shall only be liable for damages resulting from their or their agents’ actions. 

9.2 The owner is not liable for damages to guest property unless the items were stored in the provided safe. 

9.3 The guest is responsible for any damages caused to the villa during their stay.


10. Data Protection

Data processing is governed by the provisions of the privacy policy listed on the Website.


11. Final Provisions

11.1 In case of invalidity of any provision in these Terms, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. 

11.2 The owner may amend the GTC without prior notice, but these changes do not affect existing service contracts. 

11.3 All disputes will be governed by Swiss law, and the competent Swiss courts will have jurisdiction.
